Power Elite

The "Power Elite" is a theoretical construct in political sociology denoting a small, dominant group of individuals who hold disproportionate influence and decision-making authority across the interlocking institutions of government, military, and corporate economy, thereby distinguishing it from broader elites by its concentrated control over key structural levers of societal power.
