Powder Compaction

Powder Compaction is a materials processing technique within powder metallurgy that involves the mechanical densification of metallic powders into a cohesive, near-net-shape green compact through the application of uniaxial or isostatic pressure, distinguishing it from other consolidation methods by its reliance on particle rearrangement and plastic deformation at ambient or elevated temperatures without bulk melting.
