Potentiodynamic Polarization

Potentiodynamic Polarization is an electrochemical corrosion testing method that involves continuously varying the electrode potential of a metallic sample at a controlled scan rate to generate a current-potential curve, thereby characterizing the corrosion behavior, passivation, and breakdown characteristics of steels and other corrosion-resistant materials in a given electrolyte.
