Potential-dependent Adsorption
Potential-Dependent Adsorption is a physicochemical phenomenon in electrochemistry where the extent and orientation of molecular or ionic species adsorbed at an electrode interface are governed by the applied electrode potential, thereby distinguishing it from potential-independent adsorption processes through its direct dependence on the electric field and interfacial charge distribution.
