Potassium Mineralization

Potassium Mineralization is a biogeochemical process in which potassium contained in organic matter or mineral phases is converted into inorganic, plant-available forms through microbial decomposition or chemical weathering, distinguishing it from other potassium transformation processes by its focus on the release of bound potassium into soluble ionic or exchangeable states within the soil matrix.
