Posterior Palpation

Posterior Palpation is a clinical assessment technique within temporomandibular joint palpation that specifically involves the digital examination of the posterior aspect of the temporomandibular joint, distinguishing it from other palpation methods by its focused evaluation of the retrodiscal tissues and posterior synovial compartment through intra-aural or post-aural approaches.
