Post-newtonian Approximation

Post-Newtonian Approximation is a perturbative method in relativistic gravitation theory that systematically extends Newtonian gravity by incorporating relativistic corrections in powers of $v/c$, where $v$ is a characteristic velocity and $c$ is the speed of light, to describe weak-field, slow-motion systems in general relativity.
