Position-sensitive Detection

Position-Sensitive Detection is a detection methodology within gas-filled radiation detector systems that belongs to the class of spatially resolved measurement techniques, distinguished by its capability to determine the spatial coordinates of incident radiation interactions through the analysis of charge distribution or signal timing across segmented anodes or multi-electrode configurations.
