Polydioxanone Degradation

Polydioxanone Degradation is the hydrolytically driven, bulk erosion process by which the synthetic absorbable polymer polydioxanone undergoes progressive cleavage of its ester linkages in physiological environments, leading to molecular weight reduction, mass loss, and eventual resorption without eliciting significant inflammatory response.
