Polycrystalline Ceramics

Polycrystalline Ceramics is a class of dental ceramic material characterized by a microstructure composed of multiple interlocking crystalline grains without a single dominant crystal orientation, distinguished from glass-ceramics and amorphous ceramics by the absence of a glassy matrix and high crystalline content, resulting in enhanced mechanical strength and fracture resistance suitable for high-load-bearing ceramic restorations.
