Polarization-sensitive Detectors

Polarization-Sensitive Detectors is a type of X-ray detector that, unlike conventional detectors, selectively responds to the polarization state of incident X-ray photons by exploiting anisotropic interactions in the detection medium, thereby enabling the measurement of X-ray polarization properties in addition to intensity and energy.
