Polar Cell
Polar Cell is a large-scale atmospheric circulation system in which cold, dense air sinks near the poles, flows equatorward at the surface, and rises at higher latitudes, completing a meridional loop that distinguishes it from the Hadley and Ferrel cells by its poleward extent and thermally direct circulation driven by polar cooling.
