Poetic Focalization
Poetic Focalization is a narrative framework within narrative poetry that specifies the perceptual and cognitive position from which the poetic events are selectively rendered, distinguishing it from general narration by centering on the poet’s or persona’s situated awareness as the filtering mechanism for imagery, voice, and temporal perspective.
