Plug Flow Model

The Plug Flow Model is an idealized reactor model in chemical engineering representing a continuous flow system in which fluid elements travel through a reactor without axial mixing and with uniform residence time, distinguishing it from other residence time distribution models by assuming perfect segregation and instantaneous exit of all fluid elements after a fixed time.
