Plasmon-enhanced Upconversion

Plasmon-Enhanced Upconversion is a photophysical process in which the upconversion emission efficiency is amplified through the coupling of lanthanide-doped upconversion nanoparticles with localized surface plasmon resonances of metallic nanostructures, thereby enhancing absorption and radiative decay rates via near-field electromagnetic interactions.
