Planetary Core Dynamics

Planetary Core Dynamics is a subfield of planetary geophysics that studies the physical processes governing the motion, deformation, and evolution of planetary cores—including their fluid and solid dynamics, convection, rotation, magnetohydrodynamics, and interactions with surrounding layers—to explain core structure, thermal history, and magnetic field generation.
