Plane-parallel Radiative Transfer

Plane-Parallel Radiative Transfer is a radiative transfer model that assumes atmospheric properties vary only in the vertical direction and that layers are horizontally homogeneous, enabling the simplification of three-dimensional radiation propagation to a one-dimensional vertical plane for computational efficiency in climate and weather prediction models.
