Planar Cross-stratification

Planar Cross-Stratification is a type of sedimentary structure characterized by inclined, tabular layers that truncate and overlap one another, formed by the migration of subaqueous bedforms under unidirectional flow, where the bounding surfaces are predominantly flat and parallel, distinguishing it from cross-laminations with curved or convex geometries.
