Physicochemical Property Filtering
Physicochemical Property Filtering is a computational method that, as a part of drug-likeness assessment, selects or prioritizes compounds based on their adherence to empirically derived ranges of physicochemical properties such as molecular weight, lipophilicity, solubility, and ionization state, thereby distinguishing it from other filtering approaches by focusing exclusively on quantifiable molecular characteristics predictive of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic behavior.
