Physical Carcinogenesis

Physical Carcinogenesis is a subtype of carcinogenesis that denotes the multistep process by which normal cells are transformed into malignant cells specifically as a result of exposure to physical carcinogens, such as ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, extreme temperatures, mechanical trauma, or solid and particulate materials, rather than to chemical or biological agents.
