Photon Shielding

Photon Shielding is a radiation protection method that attenuates high-energy electromagnetic radiation through the use of high-atomic-number materials, distinguished from other shielding approaches by its reliance on photoelectric absorption, Compton scattering, and pair production interactions primarily facilitated by dense elements such as lead.
