Phase Equilibrium At Interfaces

Phase Equilibrium At Interfaces is a theoretical framework in interfacial thermodynamics that describes the condition wherein coexisting phases maintain thermodynamic equilibrium specifically at their interfacial boundary, characterized by continuity of temperature, pressure, and chemical potential across the interface while accounting for interfacial energy contributions distinct from bulk phase behavior.
