Pharmacometric Simulations
Pharmacometric Simulations is a quantitative modeling and simulation technique within pharmacometrics that integrates pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and disease progression models to predict the time-course and magnitude of drug effects in patients, distinguishing it from general clinical trial simulations by its reliance on nonlinear mixed-effects models to characterize population-level variability and exposure-response relationships.
