Pharmacologic Management
Pharmacologic Management is a clinical management strategy that employs the evidence-based selection, prescription, and monitoring of drug therapies to prevent, alleviate, or modify disease-related symptoms and processes—as in nurse practitioner practice for pediatric temporomandibular disorders and temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis—distinct from non-pharmacologic or surgical interventions.
