Phage Dna Packaging

Phage DNA Packaging is a molecular process in which newly replicated bacteriophage genomes are selectively encapsidated into preformed viral capsids through the action of specialized packaging enzymes and recognition signals, distinguishing it from other nucleic acid transport mechanisms by its dependency on phage-encoded machinery and sequence-specific assembly.
