Performer-generated Material
Performer-Generated Material is a mode of theatrical content creation within movement-based devising that originates from the embodied improvisations, personal investigations, and physical expressivity of individual performers, distinguishing it from text-first or director-imposed approaches by prioritizing the performer’s agency and somatic experimentation as the primary source of dramaturgical material.
