Performativity Of Protest

Performativity of Protest is an academic construct within activist performance studies that denotes the systematic analysis of protest as a culturally and politically mediated act, distinguished by its focus on how embodied practices, symbolic utterances, and ritualized actions constitute and contest power through their iterative, staged, and often disruptive public enactment.
