Performance Of Indigeneity

Performance of Indigeneity is an academic construct that denotes the embodied and representational practices through which Indigenous identities, cultural knowledges, and political sovereignties are enacted, asserted, and negotiated within performative spaces, distinguished from other forms of cultural performance by its centrality to decolonial resistance, historical continuity, and the reclamation of self-representation.
