Perfect Secrecy

Perfect Secrecy is a cryptographic property of an encryption scheme, within classical cryptography, whereby the ciphertext provides no information about the plaintext, such that the probability distribution of the plaintext remains unchanged regardless of the observed ciphertext, ensuring that an adversary with unlimited computational resources cannot gain any advantage in predicting the plaintext.
