Password Hashing
Password Hashing is a cryptographic process that applies a hash function to a password to produce a fixed-size string of characters, typically for secure storage, distinguished from other hash applications by its specific design to resist brute-force and rainbow table attacks through the use of salting, key stretching, and memory-hard algorithms.
