Particle-fluid Coupling

Particle-Fluid Coupling is a theoretical construct in particle-laden flows that characterizes the bidirectional interaction mechanism between dispersed particles and the surrounding fluid at low Reynolds numbers, wherein the particle motion influences and is influenced by the fluid dynamics through viscous forces and momentum exchange.
