Palimpsest Description

Palimpsest Description is a scholarly cataloging method that systematically identifies, analyzes, and documents the physical and textual layers of a palimpsest manuscript, distinguishing it from other manuscript descriptions by its focused examination of erased or overwritten content to recover and interpret earlier, obscured textual strata.
