Paleoclimatic Zonation

Paleoclimatic Zonation is a systematic framework within paleoclimatology that classifies geologic time and space into distinct climatic belts or regions based on proxy evidence of past climate conditions, differentiated from other zonation systems by its specific focus on reconstructing and delineating ancient climatic gradients and their biotic and abiotic impacts across continental and oceanic scales.
