Pair-conversion Detectors

Pair-Conversion Detectors is a type of high-energy gamma-ray detector that operates on the principle of pair production, wherein an incoming gamma photon of sufficient energy is converted into an electron-positron pair within a dense material, and the subsequent detection of these charged particles enables the reconstruction of the original photon's energy and direction.
