P-adic Numbers
P-Adic Numbers is a complete topological field extension of the rational numbers, constructed by completing the rationals with respect to the p-adic norm, which assigns size based on divisibility by a fixed prime p, thereby enabling a non-Archimedean valuation and a unique metric structure distinct from the real numbers.
