P-adic Heights

P-Adic Heights is a mathematical construct in arithmetic geometry that assigns to each rational point on an abelian variety over a number field a real-valued invariant derived from p-adic integration, distinguished by its role in measuring the p-adic distance of the point from the identity element in a manner compatible with the Mordell–Weil group structure.
