Overdense Plasma Interaction

Overdense Plasma Interaction is a theoretical framework in laser-plasma physics that describes the coupling mechanisms and energy transfer processes occurring when an intense laser pulse propagates in a plasma with electron density exceeding the critical density, thereby preventing linear wave transmission and enabling resonant absorption, excitation of surface waves, and nonlinear electron dynamics at the relativistic or near-relativistic intensity regime.
