Oscillating Airfoils
Oscillating Airfoils is a theoretical construct in unsteady aerodynamics that characterizes the unsteady lift and moment responses of an airfoil undergoing periodic pitch, plunge, or combined motions in a fluid flow, distinguished from steady or impulsively started airfoils by its inherent dependence on oscillatory motion-induced flow dynamics such as dynamic stall and wake memory effects.
