Orthophotography

Orthophotography is a photogrammetric technique that produces geometrically corrected aerial or satellite images—orthophotos—in which distortions due to terrain relief, lens deformation, and camera tilt have been removed, thereby enabling uniform scale and direct measurement of distances, angles, and areas as in a map.
