Organ Perforation

Organ Perforation is a surgical complication characterized by an aberrant, full-thickness breach in the wall of an internal organ, typically resulting from iatrogenic injury or pathological weakening, which distinguishes it from other intraoperative adverse events by its direct compromise of organ integrity and potential to induce peritonitis or sepsis.
