Oil Aeration

Oil Aeration is a lubrication system phenomenon in which air becomes entrained within the circulating oil, leading to the formation of a dispersed air-oil mixture that compromises the oil's incompressibility and reduces its effectiveness in load carrying, heat transfer, and wear protection within engine components.
