Oceanic Wind-driven Circulation

Oceanic Wind-Driven Circulation is a theoretical framework in physical oceanography that describes the large-scale movement of surface ocean waters resulting from the direct action of wind stress on the sea surface, differentiated by its reliance on Ekman dynamics to explain the vertical and horizontal redistribution of momentum and mass in the upper ocean.
