Numerical Flexure Models

Numerical Flexure Models is a computational modeling approach within geodynamic studies that simulates the elastic deformation of the lithosphere under surface or subsurface loads by numerically solving the differential equations governing flexural behavior, distinguished from analytical models by its capacity to incorporate complex boundary conditions, variable lithospheric properties, and realistic geometries.
