Nozzle Efficiency

Nozzle Efficiency is a performance metric in fluid dynamics that quantifies the ratio of the actual kinetic energy gained by the fluid through isentropic expansion in a nozzle to the ideal kinetic energy increase under reversible, adiabatic conditions, thereby characterizing the effectiveness of energy conversion in nozzle flow systems.
