Normal Gravity Field
The "Normal Gravity Field" is a theoretical gravitational field, belonging to the class of reference gravity fields, that is derived from a mathematically idealized, rotationally symmetric ellipsoidal Earth model and differs from real gravity fields by excluding actual geological inhomogeneities while serving as a standard approximation for geodetic computations.
