Nonlinear Wave Effects

Nonlinear Wave Effects is a hydrodynamic phenomenon characterized by deviations from linear wave theory in which wave properties such as amplitude, frequency, and phase interact in a non-superposable manner due to the inherent nonlinearity of the governing fluid dynamic equations, particularly under extreme or shallow water conditions.
