Nonlinear Tidal Dynamics

Nonlinear Tidal Dynamics is a theoretical framework within tidal modeling that accounts for the nonlinear interactions between tidal constituents and coastal or bathymetric features, thereby distinguishing itself from linear tidal theories by explicitly representing amplitude-dependent frequency corrections, harmonic generation, and energy transfer across scales in shallow or geometrically constrained oceanic environments.
