Nonlinear Light-tissue Interactions
Nonlinear Light-Tissue Interactions is a biophysical phenomenon in which the response of biological tissue to incident light deviates from proportionality with the optical input intensity, resulting in effects such as multiphoton absorption, harmonic generation, and self-focusing that arise only at high irradiance levels.
