Noncovalent Recognition
Noncovalent Recognition is a molecular interaction process in template-directed synthesis wherein a template selectively binds substrate components through noncovalent forces—such as hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions, van der Waals forces, or π–π stacking—to preorganize them in a specific spatial arrangement conducive to chemical transformation.
