Node-link Diagrams

Node-Link Diagrams is a graph and network visualization technique that represents each entity (vertex) as a discrete graphical node positioned in continuous space and each relationship (edge) as an explicit connecting line or curve between nodes, thereby encoding network structure through the topology and geometry of node–edge connections rather than through matrix- or axis-based encodings.
